This rescue cat encounters a new dog sister and immediately falls in love

Cinder and Bridger McPurr are a dog and kitten sibling pair who love each other to death. Cinder and Bridger are members of Mojo’s Hope, an Alaska nonprofit rescue organization.

Despite their differing needs and backgrounds, the two siblings are both obsessed with cuddling. As a result, they are now the best of friends.

Cinder joined Mojo’s Hope for the first time in 2015, when a hiker with a litter of puppies found her in the woods.

The Dodo was informed by Mojo’s Hope proprietor Shannon Basner that “She lacked socialization and was very fearful.”

Cinder was brought to the Mat-Su Valley Shelter by a hiker, where she was cared for and loved for 6 months. Cinder was sent to Mojo’s Hope after 6 months.

Basner stated, “She came into our program and blossomed in our care.” She gained our trust, and we immediately noticed her extraordinarily caring and compassionate nature.

“Cinder has become close friends with all of her siblings in the program, especially the cats, since she joined Mojo’s Hope.

According to Basner, “She’s become an extra ordinary mentor for every new rescue that came into our program.” She has shown them love, care, and a safe haven.”

Mojo’s Hope welcomed a new needy cat in July 2022. Bridger McPurr, the cat’s name, was found outside in the cold, was not able to move his legs. Basner said, “He was clinging to life.”

Bridger was picked up by his rescuers and taken to Anchorage Animal Care and Control, where he got immediate medical attention.

Bridger’s legs continued to malfunction after some time, but his spirits were high. Basner said, “He perked right back up.”

Bridger came to Mojo’s Hope as a foster shortly thereafter, eager to show his new family love. Basner stated, “He was immediately purring nonstop.”

He just purred and kneaded as he cradled himself so tightly around my neck. That simply demonstrated that he was loved and cared for by someone.

“Because Bridger adores being cuddled, Basner was aware that Cinder would make an excellent companion for him. When she introduced them, the siblings fell in love right away.

Basner stated, “When Cinder has her kitty fellows to snuggle with, she gets really excited.” She was cautious at first with Bridger because she knew how fragile he was.

“Cinder eased into her cuddling with Bridger, but the sweet cat didn’t hold back when it came to showing his dog sister how much he loved her.

Basner stated, “He was smitten the moment he saw her.” He lit up when he saw her and began cuddling with her.
Here, Cinder and Bridger can be seen cuddling:

The caring couple have been joined to one another from that point onward. Basner claims that Bridger will cuddle up with Cinder and gently paw at her face. He does this while purring loudly.

Basner stated, “It’s beyond precious.” It is truly the most wonderful and precious sight, no matter how many times we have seen it!

Here, watch the couple snuggle even more: Bridger is looking for a loving forever home, whereas Cinder is a permanent resident of Mojo’s Hope.

In any case, his family at Magic’s Expectation are in no race to express farewell to the cuddly feline. Basner stated, “We would love for Bridger to connect with a wonderful home.”

Nonetheless, as he pauses, he will keep on being very much cherished, really focused on and will continuously be an individual from our Magic’s Expectation family.”
